This Opportunity Notice is to advertise the launch of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) that invites suppliers to submit a bid for the provision of requirements as set out in the Specification in 'Document 3 - Specification of the Requirement' which can be found via the Jaggaer portal.

In summary, this Invitation to Quote is for the development of a scheme of work to enable maths to be taught to adult learners using a maths mastery approach, such as that used by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). The principles of the mastery approach which we expect the supplier to adhere to are outlined in the itt: See link - Five Big Ideas in Teaching for Mastery | NCETM and also: The Essence of Mathematics Teaching for Mastery | NCETM. This will allow us to test whether a mastery approach could lead to improved adult learner outcomes.
