Tender Description

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is looking to establish a contract for the provision of Healthwatch and ICAS within the local authority area The aim of Local Healthwatch is to give citizens and communities a stronger voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided within their locality. Local Healthwatch are funded by and accountable to local authorities. The aim of ICAS is to support people to complain about the treatment or care that they or a friend or family member have received from an NHS or Social care service. The support is available at every stage of the complaints process. The Council is holding a pre-market briefing session on the 3rd October 2023, 13:00pm, interested parties are encouraged to register an interest to attend. To register please download and complete the market briefing document and submit via the messages area by the 29th September 2023.
