The location of the safe accommodation must be centrally based for the population of Swansea Bay with good access links to and from Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.
Ensure that the young person does not require emergency medical treatment/care

Should it feel that the young person would benefit from using the service for an extended period of time (up to 48hours), this will need to be assessed on an individual basis and will need to be agreed locally
To focus on helping young people to stay safe by working with them to develop a short- term plan of what to do in the moment.
