Project location HM Naval Base Portsmouth
The Contractor shall be expected to adhere by the HMNB site security requirements, all Contractors and Sub-Contractors shall be BPSS security vetted and will be required to hold the relevant site security passes.
The Contractor shall be expected to hold the following levels of insurance £10m Public Liability, £10m Product Liability, £5m Professional Indemnity.

KBS Maritime are delivering an ambitious, modern and enduring change to the Portsmouth Naval base infrastructure, securing investment in the local community and ensuring fit-for-purpose, world-leading fleet support for the Royal Navy and the UK in the decades ahead.
Project Background
This project includes the baseline requirements for the creation of a testing and upkeep regime regarding the survey, design, supply, install, and commission of existing and potential new installs of varying shoreside mooring equipment therefore validating the current and new berthing capabilities across HMNB Portsmouth.
The scope of work is to test all bollard mooring equipment at HM Naval Base Portsmouth with the aim of revalidating all mooring equipment and producing a detailed report which will include but not be limited to each assets' current material state, load capability and a proposed maintenance schedule. The work may also include repair/refurbishment works where failure or significant risk of failure is determined.
It is anticipated that this programme will have a duration of 4 years with around 1,000 assets that are covered by the programme.
