Tender Description

The Royal Cornwall Museum is upgrading its electrical supply. Works required include new switchgear in a different part of the museum and transfer of circuits once new supply is provided by National Grid. The opportunity is being taken to replace the emergency lighting system and to upgrade gallery and back of house light fixtures to LED plus replacement of control gear.

The tender opportunity will be issued by Prenn Limited, project manager, on behalf of the client.

This work is the first part of transformation plans for the museum which will subject to approvals include future investment in a low carbon strategy involving introduction of extensive PV arrays and replacement of the gas boilers with air source heat pump/s. That future transformation work will be subject to separate tender opportunities.
