Tender Description

Birmingham Women's Trust is looking to award a contract for the provision of Automated Blood GroupingAnalysers.nThe range of tests will include, but is not limited to, the following:nnABO and RhD grouping for adults (full and check) and neonates.n3 or 4 red cell antibody screen by IATnDATnAntibody identification panel, to include both enzyme treated and IAT cells.nSecondary identification panel to include Rh D negative cell panel and c negative cell panel.nWeak/ Variant D typingnMiscellaneous red cell phenotyping.nTitresnSerological CrossmatchingnThe contract will be on a reagent rental basis and will include equipment, consumables and maintenance. Contract will be 5 years plus an option to extend for up to a further two twelve month periods.
