Acivico Building Consultancy Ltd invites organisations to be considered to receive tender documentation for the demolition and associated worksnincluding the site clearance of Agricultural Glass Nurseries, Rednall, Birmingham, B45 8RYnnContract Number 12662nnThe former agricultural glass and aluminium structures are longer fit for purpose and the site is earmarked for redevelopment, therefore identifies the need for safendemolition and site clearance. The demolition works will need to be undertaken in two phases due to the location and design of the structures. The site will remainnoperational during the works and care and consideration must be given to the site users and demolition method of works.nnThe demolition site must be well secured by use of appropriate fencing during and at the end of the contract works. Contractors wishing to tender for this contract mustnhave 3 years of audited accounts showing a minimum annual average turnover of 500k.nnThe contractor must provide suitably trained workforce and experience/knowledge of works required to be undertaken. The contractor will be responsible for providingntheir own power, water and welfare to undertake this work.nnA Public/Product liability insurance of 5 million and Employers LiabilitynInsurance of 10 million must be provided.nnThe contractor must hold or employ persons with valid HSE asbestos license to be able to remove notifiable asbestos (if any).nnThe contract will be let using a JCT Minor Works Form of Contract 2011, issued by the Joint Contracts Tribunal with Birmingham City Council amendments.nIt is anticipated the works will commence in April 2016 and be completed by June 2016. The successful contractor will need to demonstrate their ability tonprovide the service required, confirmation of conforming to demolition, asbestos and other relevant health and safety legislation, equalities, businessncharter and social value policy and financial stability.nnThe estimated value of the works is in the region of 50k.nnTender documents must be submitted by 12 noon, Tuesday 29 March 2016. Tenders submitted after this time will not be considered.nnContractors whose tender is under consideration may be required to submit further documentation in support of their tender. This documentation will bencalled for and should be provided within 7 days of the request
