Blackpool Council is creating a brand new family friendly museum. It will be a fun and interactive museum about why Blackpool is famous and a celebration of Blackpool’s unique place in the story of British popular culture and entertainment. We have been successful in our applications for Heritage Lottery Fund Round 1 funding and Northern Cultural Regeneration Funding and are now working towards submitting HLF Round 2. We are currently in development phase and, if successful with funding, work on site is due to start April 19.
