Herts Valleys CCG and Hertfordshire County Council (on behalf of East & North Herts CCG) would like to invite suitably qualified and experienced providers of counselling and IAPT services to qualify for the Hertfordshire Any Qualified Provider (AQP) of Counselling Services. Those Providers who are successful in qualifying will be awarded a contract with no guarantee of activity or income. Payment will be dependent on providers treating patients referred to them from primary care.nnThe service will offer primary care counselling to service users registered with a GP in Hertfordshire aged over 16 years old with mild to moderate range of mental health problems reporting as suffering from;nn1. Pathological bereavement n2. Coping with injury or illness n3. Developmental or life crises n4. Emotional or physical abuse issues n5. Family relationship issues n6. Loss e.g. relationship, employment, health etc. n7. Self-image and identity issues n8. Lack of direction, alienation, existential problemsn9. Stress and trauma - pre and post event n10. Issues of sexualityn11. Early onset addictive behaviours; drug misuse, eating disorders, alcoholismnnService to be CommissionednnPrimary Care Counselling providing a counselling service and Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme model of mental health support.nIn East and North Herts CCG all counselling offered will be IAPT compliantnIn Herts Valleys CCG, both IAPT and non-IAPT compliant therapies can be offerednnIndicative rates are as follows:n40 per 1-2-1 sessionn50 per group sessionnnIndicative Timeframe for the AQP ProcessnnThe following dates are the indicative Key Milestones for the AQP process:nPublication of Contract Advert - 1 June 2016nDeadline for Submission of Proposal - 17:00 on 5 July 2016nEvaluation of Proposals - 6 to 15 July 2016nProviders informed of outcome - 22 July 2016nFeedback to Bidders delivered - 25 to 29 July 2016nStandstill Period - 29 to 8 August 2016nMobilisation Period - 15 August to 30 SeptembernService Commencement - 1 October 2016
