Tender Description

Hackney New School opened a new community primary school for boys and girls aged 4-11. The school, Hackney New Primary school, was opened in September 2015 with a published admission number of 50 children in the first Reception year, in two classes of 25 pupils each. Along with mathematics, music is at the heart of the school.nnDue to a current expansion programme, it is proposed that temporary modular school buildings are provided at a site in the N1 area of the London Borough of Hackney. The proposed modular buildings are to contain a dining hall, an administration block, two Reception Year classrooms, two First Year classrooms, two Second Year classrooms. The site is currently occupied by a council owned building which is in the process of being demolished. The works will include the installation of a hard top play area and safeguarding security fence.
