This notice relates to a contract covering areas of housing stock within London & Essex as detailed below:nn-North East (including Haringey, Waltham Forest, Newham and Tower Hamlets)n-Lewisham (including Bromley)n-Hackneyn-Charlton Triangle (Greenwich)n-Essex region n-North West Region (including Barnet, Harrow, Brent, Ealing and Hillingdon)n-South East Region (Southwark)n-South West Region (including Wandsworth, Lambeth, Merton, Sutton and Croydon),n-Islingtonn-Old Oak Region (including Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham)nnCharlton Triangle and Old Oak Plus are subsidiaries of Family Mosaic and for whom Family Mosaic carry out pest control treatment and proofing works. Orders for pest control treatment and proofing works may be placed for Charlton Triangle and/or Old Oak Plus properties but neither Charlton Triangle nor Old Oak Plus will be a party to the contract.nnThe contract includes both Pest Control Treatment and Proofing Works. nna) Pest Control Treatment nnThe treatment services and/or works will comprise of but are not limited to:nnThe monitoring, treatment and eradication of pests in both individual and communal dwellings, inclusive of internal and external areas as required.nnThe Contractor will be required to use different formulations such as spray, bait, space treatment, dust and any other formulation agreed by Family Mosaic. If the dwelling is heavily furnished and/or the infestation cannot be treated effectively using conventional formulations a space treatment may be used, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, providing the prior written approval of Family Mosaic has been obtained. nnb) Pest Proofing WorksnnThe proofing works will comprise of but are not limited to:nnInvestigation of pest entry points both internally and externally to the dwelling including for example removal of kitchen and bathroom units and reinstating, cutting access holes for investigation and making good, removal and reinstatement of loft insulation and the completion of appropriate proofing following eradication to restrict future pest access with materials agreed by Family Mosaic for example; wire wool and concrete. nnThe contract is for an initial period of 36 months with an option to extend for a further period of up to 12 months. Family Mosaic expects the contract to start on 9th January 2017
