Typically, the report includes a physical launch, amplified through the media and other channels, with recommendations discussed and debated in ongoing policy practice workshops, which gives the work longevity and legacy. Commissions can help to raise the profile of cutting-edge research and innovation in Birmingham externally, connecting research to policy makers and practitioners to deliver real-world impact.
