Birmingham City Council invites organisations to make an application to be considered for inclusion on a select list of tenderers for internal refurbishment and part external refurbishments of existing single storey building as part of a re-use of an existing education building.nnThe works are to be completed and invoiced in full before the 21st Oct 2016.nnBrief Description of Works: nn• Removal of selected internal finishes, walls, M&E items that are surplus to requirements or need replacing n• New internal walls , doors and glass screens to form 10 classrooms and supporting spaces including staff areas and break out spaces n• New electrical lighting LST radiators to replace existing new fire and security alarms including new access control system to be linked to existing n• New painted finishes to walls ceilings and carpets to selected floor areas. n• New corridors at 1st floor re modelling of existing laboratories to suit nnTwo phase contract 1st phase 6 classrooms completed 28th August 2016 n2nd phase 4 classrooms completed 21st Oct 2016nnThe Council will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration and evaluation of this tender process, which along with the project scope and specification may also include requirements to provide the following for consideration:- nn• Company Profile - Turnover, Organograms, Client Relationships, Sales Pipeline, Professional Body Registration / Memberships n• Trade and Bank references (where appropriate). n• Evidence of acceptable H&S and Quality Management Systems & Practices n• Evidence of insurances to support required levels of indemnity & liability n• Evidence of recent project history working on similar projects in similar environments with supporting case studies and method statements nnIf you are interested in applying and would like a copy of the quotation please register an interest on in-tend.
