Tender Description

Central Bedfordshire Council is a Unitary authority and has responsibility for the Historic Environment Record (HER) for both Central Bedfordshire and Luton areas. It is seeking competitive quotations for the contract to carry out the scanning and rectification of 10 epochs of vertical aerial photos currently held as contact printsnnThis contract is divided in to two separate LOTS:nLOT 1 - ScanningnLOT 2 - RectificationnBidders can submit a price on one or both LOTS and the LOTS may be awarded to one or two separate bidders. nnThe full orthorectification, mosaic and cataloguing of the images for each of the separate 10 epochs, in MapInfo compatible format (.TAB file for catalogue info/ cutlines, ECW for images/ mosaics) with completion and invoicing by 30th April 2017. The images will need to be scanned at 1200dpi by photogrammetric scanning. Edge matching where needed will be carried out and the stitching together of all images.nnContract start date: 9th Nov 2016nContract end date: 30th April 2017nnHelp and support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you through the Tender process.
