The provision of beach management works. The principal objective of the works is to maintain the existing standard of coastal defences along the Folkestone & Hythe District Council frontage between Fisherman's Beach, Hythe to the Harbour at Folkestone in order to maintain the standard of protection.<br /> Estimated contract value 2.3m (excl. VAT). Actual value of work will may vary each year depending on the programme of beach recycling works needed each season and any requirement for adhoc or emergency works.
